The RaySafe real-time radiation dosimeter measures and records radiation every second. Data is transferred wirelessly to the Real-time Hub. The dosimeter requires minimal maintenance and can be personalized by removing its window and changing color insets.

The RaySafe i3 reveals radiation exposure in real-time using easy-to-read, color-coded bar graphs displayed on the included dedicated display. Green, yellow, and red bars indicate the dose rate for up to eight individuals simultaneously. Instant feedback empowers medical staff to learn and adapt their behavior to minimize unnecessary exposure

Software

Measurements are stored for post-procedure analysis in DoseViewer, facilitating continued learning and enabling comparisons over time between labs and between users. For hospitals using multiple i3 systems, advanced analysis, reporting and archiving of dose information is managed through RaySafe Dose Manager.

  • Wireless data transfer from the RaySafe real-time radiation dosimeter to the display.
  • USB data transfer from the dosimeter to the DoseViewer software.
  • The dosimeter has a replaceable battery, which means that longevity depends solely on wear and tear.
  • No interference from cell phone signals has been observed during heavy testing
  • Automatic sleep mode. Only active dosimeters will populate the screen, regardless of where the inactive units are stored
