|Matt Daniels, Ph.D, DABR, Director of Commissioning
Matt has worked with LANDUAER Medical Physics since 2007 in various roles including part-time consulting while serving part-time in other adjacent medical physics roles including: Senior Product and Physics Team Manager at Sun Nuclear Corporation and Medical Physicist at Health First as its on-site clinical physicist in Florida, leading monthly and annual linac quality assurance sessions. Dr. Daniels is the co-author of several published peer-reviewed journal articles and an active member of American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), American Physical Society, and Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE).
|Robert Staton, Ph.D, DABR, Lead Commissioning Physicist
Before joining LANDAUER Medical Physics, Dr. Staton served as Senior Medical Physicist and Therapeutic Medical Physics Residency Program Director in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida Health Cancer Center - Orlando Health (formerly MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando). He performed funded research on clinical applications of adaptive radiation therapy and is the co-author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles. He is active in residency education and is a frequently invited speaker. Additionally,Dr. Staton is an active board member of the Florida chapter of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and has served on the AAPM TG-306 Committee. He also belongs to The American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO).
|Tim Durant, BSEE, P.E., LMP Commissioning Specialist
Prior to his affiliation with LANDAUER Medcial Physics in 2015, Tim served as Commissioning Specialist at ARC, Ascend, and Arete, companies that merged with Global Physics Services and were later acquired by LANDAUER. Earlier he was an Electrical Research and Development Engineer for medical devices and aerospace sensors, and a Startup and Test Engineer for commercial nuclear power plants. Tim is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He is a U.S. Navy veteran having served in the Naval Nuclear Program and qualifying as Engineering Watch Supervisor and Reactor Operator onboard a nuclear fleet ballistic missile submarine. He is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
|A.J. Carper, MS, DABR, Medical Physicist
A.J. joined LANDAUER Medical Physics in 2007, and has worked clinically at several locations in the Chicago area. He is familiar with external beam therapy, brachytherapy, and a wide array of special procedures (SRS, SBRT, TBI, TSET, IORT) A.J. also serves as Associate Director in Chicago for the LANDAUER CAMPEP-accredited Therapy Residency Program.
|Rob Hayward, Ph.D., Software Engineer
Prior to joining LANDAUER Medical Physics in 2021, Dr. Hayward worked as a product physicist for Sun Nuclear Corporation where he developed QA software with a focus on dose calculation algorithms. Rob is the co-author of several peer-reviewed publications related to applications of transport theory in both radiation therapy and reactor physics. He holds an MS in Medical Physics and a Ph.D in Nuclear and Radiological Engineering from Georgia Tech.
|Naomi Morales-Medina, Commissioning Physicist
Naomi completed the formal two-year CAMPEP Accredited Therapy Residency Program training with LANDAUER Medical Physics in 2021. She is a graduate of Duke University with a M.S. in Medical Physics and the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras Campus with a B.S. in Physics. Her aspiration as a Medical Physicist is to share a vision of patient safety and treatment quality through her work as a Commissioning Physicist on the LMP Commissioning team.

Amber joined the team in 2011, and attended Wright State University concentrating in Business Management.
